Romney wants even deeper cuts on spending done for the poor than suggested by Ryan. Romney thinks the benefits never reach the poor hence it is best to do away with these pro-poor programmes. Simultaneously his plan while increasing taxes for the middle class he is cutting taxes for the rich. It will make a big hole in budget deficit.
